Default Transmission speed sensor replacement

Not my truck, but helping someone out. Got codes for MAF and transmission speed sensor. Truck was idling rough and the transmission does seem to shift a little harsh. Replaced the MAF no problem. But where is this transmission speed sensor and how hard is it to replace? This is a 94 Ranger with the 4.0L V6.

So do I need to lift the truck to get to this? not familiar with these trucks, obviously. So you just unscrew it and disconnect a wire harness of some sort, simple as that?

ya the put the new one on and hook the wires back to it. you don't need to jack it up at all unless you can't get under the truck

Thanks for the info, that helps. so I'm guessing you had this same code with the transmission acting up some? Did replacing the sensor help?
