Does anybody know anything about these fuel saver things, like the tornado one, you put it in the air inlet hose, right next to the air filter.. It is supposed to help with gas, and horsepower, any truth to this???

None of that is real. It is all 100% bull. There is NOTHING that you can bolt on, clamp on, or add on your truck that will improve fuel economy. It is 100% all in how you use your foot. That and regular maintenance and tire pressure of course.

I had one and sent it back, got nothing out of it , no more MPG or power. Has anyone here tried converting your cooling fan to an electric one? If so I would love to know if you got any MPG out of it..

Yes, many people here have put electric fans in. The gain is very very very small. I did it more for function than power gain.

That would help, paired with other things IE shaving weight, 0 weight oil, certain tires, light wheels, etc.

Actually, the current state of the art (computer controlled fuel injection and cats) give us better running and more efficient cars than the ones from the 60's!
