Default Engine cut out on highway

I have a 2010 Ford Ranger XLT w/4.0 six. Yesterday, while driving on the highway, I hit some rough road surface (repaving work) on the highway so it got a little bumpy at highway speeds (60 +/-) and the engine cut out. I was able to coast over to an exit ramp and stop there. I have a scan guage hooked up to it, so I scanned for codes and there were no codes. The engine restarted and seemed to run fine after that. I had it set up with the Superchips performance mode, which was the only modification from stock. I checked the ignition switch, but don't know what else I should check to see what is loose(?) Battery cables, ignition wires and other connections that are obvious are tight. I reprogrammed the engine back to stock, just in case it happens again and doesn't restart and has to go to the dealer.

It seems to me that without any codes and not being able to replicate it, that bringing it to the dealer is just going to waste my time.

Any suggestions?

My only suggestion would be to leave it at stock. Because how can you know if this happened because of a factory defect or from it being re-tuned?
There are over-temp cut offs, misfire cutoffs, all kinds of safety cutoffs that might have been touched off by those thresholds being changed. Maybe your knock sensor shut you down?

How many miles are on it?

Anyone know if there is a break in period before which it's undesirable to reprogram an engine?

It has 4,500 miles on it. I figured I'd keep it set "Stock" for a couple thousand miles and see if anything happens. If it happens again, then I know that the superchips didn't cause it and I also will have no issues with the dealer. If nothing happens, then I'll try retuning it again and then if it happens, I'll contact superchips, to see if they have any solutions.
