Was wondering if it would help any to switch from the hose coming of the valve cover. going to the intake, and just replacing it with a small air filter.

I know the older cars/trucks use to do this.

I would probably run better since your engine won't be sucking in all that oil vapor. I think the PCV is just an emissions thing.
