Default clutch/slave cylinder

So i have replaced my clutch, slave cylinder and rear main seal while i was down there. upon putting everything back together and bleeding the clutch my ranger was up and running when all of the sudden my clutch pedal went all the way to the floor. Upon realizing i made a mistake by not pushing the pin into the metal line that comes with the plastic slave cylinder, it blew out after driving it. So now that i know this i take it all back out and place the pin into that line and pull as hard as i can to make sure this does not happen again. Finally after doing this for the second time around i make it to the grocery store and jump into the truck to take off and the same damn thing. the line has popped out of the slave cylinder again. it is not diconnecting at the quick connect where you have to push the plastic sleeve in to release the line from the master cylinder. Its coming undone inside of the bell housing where the metal line plugs into the plastic slave cylinder and i cant figure out why this keeps happening. If you have any insight to this issue i would appreciate any thoughts and or advice on this. thank you so much

Sounds like you didn't push the line in far enough for the pin to mate with the groove in the line
