Default Engine Revs

So today i noticed that when my truck is running in park, and also when im stopped in gear, the engine keeps reving up and down. Does anyone know what's causing this? Also i did the throttle cable mod a couple of weeks ago, would that be what's causing the engine to rev? Thanks

turns out it was just a leak in one of the hoses going to the air flow sensor
