thermostat sensors?
Hi Everyone.
2005 ford ranger xlt v6 4.0l 4wd... I have two sensors on my thermostat housing unit. engine light came on after recently replacing housing unit and thermostat. WHAT are the two sensors??? are they the same? is there a difference between the two? which is which??? and what would be their part number(s)? Thanks every one! ---------- Oh yeah. i hooked up obd2 reader and got code po128. thanks again!

The two temp sensors are Not the same one is a one-wire temp sensor and the other is a two-wire temp sensor. the one wire sensor is for engine temp to the temp gauge and the two wire sensor is for temp info to the ECM.
