Swap 96 4.0 into 94 4.0
Looking for info about simplifying the swap. The 96 has a lot more emissions bs. Could I simply put the old intake manifold on the newer motor and run the old wiring harness with ecm?

make the new engine look like the older engine and swap the sensors the old was obd-1 new is obd-2 if you change everything over it should be just fine

Flywheels/Flexplates were different too.
Not a big deal, just more holes in the newer motors.
