Default AC Blew up!!!

Hey guys. I think my ac blew up.

I drove about thirty miles got to job, worked for about 45min. turned around and walked towards my truck and pphphppppppssssshhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Big cloud of something came pouring out.

Didn't smell like like antifreeze and the raditor is still full.
We popped the hood and no antifreeze drips or puddles. could still hear a hissing noise. we did spot a few green drops in the driveway. i read that the condenser oil has a green dye added.

Any advice, pointers, ideas would be appreciated.
will the truck be ok to still drive even without ac condenser working? I did drive it home and it seemed fine.

----------

i did see a video of the ac blow off valve and looks similiar to what happened to me. my truck wasn't running though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=cNrY-g8RbzY what should i do?

You could start up the truck, turn on your A/C and look for the soft line hoses.. you'll find your burst hose there. Fine to drive as long as you're not using the AC

Visit Rockauto for replacements, while your at it, flush the system from both directions; the stuff is available at almost any auto parts stores, R&R the drier and the orifice tube and all the O-rings while your in there. Then take it to a shop, have them draw the system down for NO less than an hr. Then add the refrigerant. theres a formula based upon the systems vacuum, ambient temp, and the correct amount of refrigerant used..

Should blow close to Ice when done.

That should be fine, just do not use the defroster either.
