Default Gas milage for a 4.0?

Its only got 600 miles on it...but does it get better...its getting about 15 average.....can i do some mods to help...or does it need to break in?

Let it break in. It will not improve by more than a couple mpgs though.

I just filled up the other day and got 19.3mpg!!! I have gotten 18 a few times, and usually get in the high 17's. And this is all city, auto trans.

Wow...I'm impressed by those #s. I got 25 once. Usually in the 17s though, does not help as I use it for mainly offroading or going up to the mountains.

I average about 18 in my 02 manual. I get about 300 miles to a tank

Wait until you get to over 5K. Then you should see more accurate numbers
