Withen the last 2 days I noticed when I went to brake slowly by brake pedal would go to the floor and only engage the last ince before I hit the floor. However if I hit the pedal really fast like a emergency then it's immediately hard and like normal. It's been fine for the last 4 years and has plenty of fluid. The tire shop said I had a wheel cylinder leaking but it took a month for the fluid level to go down a little bit. I'm doing new pads and rotors this week along with the wheel cylinders, but it doesn't make sense that the brakes randomly decided to start acting up. Thanks for any help.

it sounds like air in the lines, if that leak hasn't been fixed i'd do that and bleed the brakes
