Default head lamps

hi folks my concern is : changing headlamp bulbs to brighter type #9007 =is there any issues hurting the lamp component from a brighter bulb AND are there any easy methods to remove and install the bulb

A brighter bulb means more wattage which also means more amps to power the bulb on a socket and wire that are not designed for that

Have you considered just a higher color temperature bulb? maybe something around 5k personally i wouldn't go over 5500 out of respect to oncoming drivers

I think OEM'S are around 4300 IIRC

thanks Markous =do explain 5k if oem is 4300 ==do you mean in wattage draw?? or amp needed ;;im not too clear on this =also will it hurt lamp component,, Jswifto has said it may not be a wise choice for me to up-grade lighting brightness = I have to agree with him to ,but ,I'm still curious AND maybe just increase the lights a small amount only ==thank you

The kelvin i'm referring to is a measure of color temperature not wattage.
