Default Mass airflow sensor clip broke

Hey there

So I tried to take the mass airflow sensor wire off the unit and it broke. I pulled out the red tab underneath it but I guess it didn't unlock it all the way or something and when I pulled it off there she was gone. It looks as though I could just replace the connector/clip thing but I have no idea what to call it to find a replacement. It doesn't seem like something that should require the whole harness be replaced but lately I've been the big rather than the windshield per se so I wouldn't be surprised if I fucked it up and it's going to cost me 100's

If anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated

The pigtail is just the clip/connector that I broke then? No cutting or soldering? Awesome!

You can buy a pigtail or grab a few of them at a U-pull (other Ford vehicles use this connector + MAF and that pigtail/connector should be silly cheap at any u-pull) and from there you can extract the six wires from the pigtail, extract the wires from your damaged connector, and without hacking/chopping the wiring harness for this simple repair, you can replace only the damaged plastic housing of the connector.

I did see a special tool you insert into where the connector is and move a locking clip to the side and pull back on the wire that has the connector on =replace connecting piece and
good to go =saw it on google ''how to disconnect auto electrical connectors'' good luck
