Default Long cranking

Hi guys, I recently replaced my fuel pump on my truck because my old one died, but it still has to crank for 2-5 seconds (depending on the day), and then fires right up and runs fine. I haven't checked anything yet because I'm at school and don't have the time or money, but what would you guys recommend I check and test? It has a new fuel filter in the past 3 months, and the truck is a 91 4.0.

Any help or advice is appreciated,
Thanks.

I'm mainly asking for ideas on what it could be right now, and in a month or so when I have time, I'll check everything out

I've found cleaning them doesn't really work no matter how well and how many times I cleaned them. Replacing was the only true fix. When the IAC on my 99 Ranger and 01 Mustang were bad I would have long cranking times, a humming noise occasionally and intermittently and the idle was screwy.

Ah okay. Well thank you, I have a few things I'd like to check when I get time, but if it comes down to it, I'll get myself a new one
