Default Lean code and fuel circuit code

I am receiving a lean code on my ranger bank 1 and 2 and a fuel pump circuit code when I run a ford continously memory test. I have a new fuel pump and new fuel filter. Causes truck to idle rough not sure what the problem could be iv checked all injectors and fuel pressure regulator as well

I know you said you have a new fuel pump, but I would still do a fuel pressure test to rule out low fuel pressure. Non-invasive and can tell you a lot. Then I'd start looking at vacuum lines.

X2 perform a fuel pressure test.

What would be the next step. Replacing oxygen sensors?

Observations/comments on what's been mentioned so for....

* It it always good to post any and all (please note the word, all) DTC's rather than the interpretation. In the case of your vehicle which uses EEC-IV and knowing that there is only one correct sequence for repairing these DTC (KOEO, KOER and lastly CM), it could be of benefit to a reader to know which group the first codes(s) were found in, and if applicable, confirm that previous groups produced no DTC's whatseover.

*Yes, you should always do a visual inspection for issues, in this case look for vacuum leaks. And yes, testing and confirming correct fuel pressure should be performed. IMO, that's all fine and dandy that there is a new fuel pump in there........but new never assures with 100% certainty that something is working correctly.

*4.0L Ford engines of your vintage are very vulnerable to engine knock caused by three conditions, two of which are running lean condition. The lean condition need not trip the CEL, but I'd venture a guess that eventually the cause of the lean condition could progress to the point of it running lean enough to trip the CEL. These two VERY common reasons are:

a) Lower intake manifold bolts (and not the upper). I've personally found more than one Ford 4.0L with multiple finger tight bolts on the lower intake gasket interface; I'm DIY, imagine what they used to find at the dealers. The solution (most of the time, but not always) is to retorque the lower intake. Takes ~20 minutes, thanks to a few bolts having access issues (have a couple 3/8" swivels and a few extensions ready).

b) Dirty MAF sensor. Dirty MAF = false reading of actual airflow = ECM thinks there is less air entering engine than there actually is, and ECM responds by backing off on the fuel. Result: lean.

A few things here for you to consider and be aware of.

This is neither helpful nor beneficial. Please note my previous post.

Bank 1 and 2?

I'd check the throttle body elbow just for a laugh.

The fuel pressure test sounds like a good place to start especially since you have lean codes with it.
