Default Radiator Replacement for the SOHC MT

I have an 02 Ford Ranger 4x4 offroad package with a manual trans and I need a new radiator. The problem is when I search on car-parts.com I get two options for the radiator which are: ID 1L5H-8005-JA or ID 1L5H-8005-MA. So what are the differences in the different skews for those MA or JA radiators? Will I be fine if I get either radiator?

And one last question (And probably a dumb question), will the 4 cylinder radiator for a manual trans 2.3l 03 ranger fit my ranger?
Seems to me like it would fit but the hose that runs through the top is skinny on the 4 banger radiator.

Sorry if there is a thread about this already but I have been searching all over the forums for Radiator help, Unfortunately the forums have a not so good seach coding and the tag option is useless unless you're looking for a thread about the biggest tire you can put on or spark plugs or general help.

ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Thank you

Those numbers you have aren't ford part numbers. They are ford engineering numbers. Feel free to PM me the last 8 of your trucks vin and I'll get you the service part number and the correct identification number

PM sent

I just want to thank you for the help and quick answer. I went and bought my self the radiator today and installed it as well. Took me about half an hour. Truck is not leaking any coolant anymore.

Any idea of what could of happened if I would of installed the JA type radiator?
