Re: Very simple question
Not sure what they guy wants. His (presumed to be in running condition) engine obviously has a cam right now, and it has a sound when running. Time for that video!

Lol. I saw that too.
OP-
It sounded like you wanted us to be supportive of your plan. Most people on here that know what they're talking about aren't gonna support doin somethin potentially harmful to your truck just to take a video of it. That'd be like saying "I have 4 perfectly good tires, but no pictures of my truck with flat tires. I'm gonna go slash my tires and grab a pic". It just doesn't make sense to most of us.
Just be happy your truck is in good running condition and enjoy it.

Re: Very simple question
I think that's a good idea Mike 2003 4.0 has extra coolant lines for cold-weather areas but I live in California so I don't need it mine also has no EGR I don't know if yours does or doesn't but it's the 2 small vacuum lines that go up by the throttle body there coolant lines you just connect them together and it shouldn't change anything unless you live in a really cold area can private message me if you want more clarity

It's the brake booster line. However I don't recommend doing this because it'll fuck up the air to fuel ratio.

Idk if this will help, but when I cleaned my MAF sensor, I forgot to plug in the plug for the sensor and I forgot to slide the air intake tube to the throttle body, might be the wrong terminology. However, when I ran it like that, it ran like shit, but when it ran like shit, I could rev my engine in park and it would almost sound as if it had launch control and or anti-lag. It's probably not the best to run it like this, but if it's what you want, it's what you want. Plus my exhaust is straightpiped after the cats, and the exhaust dumps before the passenger rear tire, results may vary.
