Angry idler pully issues

Alright guys, I've got a '94 XLT 6 cyl 4.0 and this is my issue. I've recently been investing a lot of time and money into my truck, I had an idler pully that kept squealing and it was driving me nuts. I replaced it 4 times now and it stills is squealing. Could it be my belt tensioner that's causing it?
Thanks for the help

What makes you think its the belt tensioner pulley making the noise? A bad harmonic balancer can cause squeaky belts. Does the belt jump like a guitar string when the engine is running? Is there any noticeable damage/chipping around the edge of the harmonic balancer? Is the belt new as well? Maybe the belt has streched and is now too big......

The belts about a year old and pristine. No chipping, no cracks or anything. I know it's the pulley because when I spray liquid wrench into it, it stops chirping for a few minutes. The guy at AutoZone said it could be the tensioner that's causing it because it's not holding it tight enough.

Yeah, but four of them now?

How about just bite the bullet on this one and buy a motorcraft from your dealership. Sucks, i know.

Dont know what else to suggest at this point.

tension pulley is a possibility. another one is a bad fan clutch. another is a coolant leak. had to replace fan clutch, belt and water pump to fix my squeal. good luck!!!
