i know there is a million swap threads and I tried to find the one I need before posting so if you know about it just link me the thread please.


Anyway what I am thinking about doing is, the truck I just bought has a bad motor. its a 2001 4x4 vin has E for 8th dig. Can I swap it out for a 2001 4x4 3.0 if I use the computer from that truck. I can get it with 60k miles for cheap. I don't care about the 4.0 going back in just need it to get my son back and forth to school. Does the trans match up from the 4.0 to the 3.0?
