fan clutch replacment
need tips for removing the the fan clutch i can not figure out how to make it stop spinning all tips will be appreciated this is killing my gas mileage and i have to get it done tomorrow.

Yours might be one of the ones that needs that special wrench to hold it in place. Advance sells them in a two pack with two different sizes.

auto parts stores like autozone rent the wrenches. Its basically a spanner wrench that grabs the heads of the bolts that hold the pulley onto the water pump.
It is a PITA to get off. I cut mine off but was changing out to a flex fan anyhow.
Another method that might work is to use a strap wrench on the pulley, you'll have to get one hellova grab on it tho.
