Default which fuel pump?

We're working on the '03 FX4 4x4 4.0l SOHC Extended cab(suicide door) and the fuel pump has been acting up lately, to the point where it doesn't even turn on when the key is turned sometimes.

While looking for a replacement, we came across several different types of fuel pumps that Ebay says will fit: PFS-1018, PFS-1019, PFS-444, ect. The dealer says only the PFS1019 will fit. What is the difference between these different models? Can the pump alone be changed in these housings/modules? Can any 50PSI pump be installed or is there a specific "best" pump to use?

I was wondering if they're different at all and not just arbitrarily numbered.

Thanks in advance for any advice

Go with the dealer and do not buy it if eBay.
