Are the 2 sensors on the thermostat housing the same or are they different parts? I replaced my leaking thermostat housing with a kit that included 2 new sensors. I didn't keep track of which sensor the connectors came off of on the old housing.The connectors were plugged back on when the job was completed, but now I have the yellow"check engine" icon showing on the instrument display. Have I managed to get the connectors swapped?

I wanna say coolant temp sensor and coolant sending unit. Very common to get mixed up

I put 2 aftermarket ones on my 04 4.0 and I swear they were the same

Anyone have issues with these leaking?did my t stat housing 4 k miles ago have had no issues with loosing coolant until I noticed coolant around d these sensors the other day

Yes very common usually need to replace the orings on the sensors. But they can be a PITA to find, I had to replace the sensors.
