So when I attempted to change my oil, the plug would not turn to the point I broke a rachet extender on it. Taking it to NTB tomorrow to let them deal with it.

How do you know what the oil temp was ?
Oil doesn't get hot at idle, it heats up under load.
Does your oil have any odd smell, like a sweet smell or sulfur or gasoline ?
Does your engine make noise when you first start it ?

the oil is pretty disgusting though. It's probably been a very long time since the last change

my oil temp gauge when off the scale while I was sitting in traffic. It might be a faulty sensor, but we can never be to sure

Still have a slight problem with overheating. Going to drain my coolant, change my upper and lower radiator tubes, change my thermostat, change my coolant temperature sensor, flush my system and put new coolant in. Also going to replace my oil pressure sensor, my intake gaskets, and valve cover gaskets while I'm at it. And since its in my garage, I'll change the instrument cluster lights too.
