Default Leaf in Heater Blower Noise

There seems to be a noise coming from the Heater Blower,
seems to happen when I pull into a store with a elevated hill,
then sometimes it goes away going back up that hill.

I am thinking it's a leaf stuck in there

Now it's constant, is there any tricks to stop this?
Like shooting air into the duct outside or inside to move
that leaf? Does it ever get chopped up and stop without
having to take it all apart?

thanks in advance...

If it is a leaf in the blower motor, then there are a few opinion. Either take out the blower motor and remove said object. Or let the leaf dry out and it will eventually break apart and the noise will go away. If that is the problem and there isn't an under lying problem then that should fix it

Take the motor and squirrel cage out. It's only a couple screws.

This was done inside of the engine, not in the interior
and low and behold there was a twig and some leaves
ahhh so nice to be back to normal

anyone else in the future having this problem
go for it, it's not that hard of a job, tricky but worth it

Thought i'd resurrect this thread instead of starting a new one.

Last couple of days, i've ended up with the same problem as the OP, is it easy to get access to the fan? and i keep seeing reference to inside/outside the cab area.

PS I Felt under the glove box tonight after a 10 minute drive, and it was hot to touch, whatever is there (dark, couldn't see) is that normal?

Your blower motor is mounted under the hood near the passenger side.

And it is very easy to remove.

Here is a video of a girl replacing the blower motor .

If you have to replace the blower motor and it comes with a gasket like the girls aftermarket blower motor that was not installed at the factory, take the time to remove the fan install the gasket then reinstall the fan once the gasket is stuck in place properly to prevent air leaks.

I am guessing you may have felt the box that contains the heater core, but it is hard to tell by your description.

If you want to know for sure what was hot get some lighting and take video or picture of the part that is hot and we can confirm if it is nothing to worry about.

I'm assuming nothing fan related is in the cabin then?
I think on my 3.0 the fan location shown in that video is way harder to access.
