not real sure if this is where it should go but had some questions for you guys about tuners. First of all what is the best tuner for the 06 4.0, or does that part not really matter, is it all about the tune? Second, where do you guys get the tunes from? Is there someone on here that does them or no? Third, what do the tunes cost? and will you see an overall improvement? Fourth, do you guys go with the tuners or just get a chip? mainly my 06 lvl 2 takes awhile to shift so that would be the main reason i would be getting one but would like to know the advantages besides that. any help would be greatly appreciated. im a little new to the forum so if its already on here, my bad.

I have an SCT X3 with a henson performance tune on it and it really woke my 4.0 sohc ranger up.

Just don't waste your money on one of the cheap cookie cutter tuners i started with super chips and now i run an SCT basic model i forget which but its a custom tune and even on my little 3.0 its night and day difference the super chips is fine if your just looking to change your gear ratios or what not but if you want performance they are a waste of money.
