4.0 Has No Power Until 3000 Rpm
Alright I have a 1993 Ranger 4x4 with a 4.0 and a manual transmission. Like the title says my ranger is has a real lack of power until about 3000 rpm. It does this in all gears but much more noticable in 4th and 5th. It seems to bog down until you hit around 3000 and then jumps back to how it should be. It doesn't seem to matter if the truck is cold or warm.
This started about 4 months ago after parking my truck for 2 weeks to do my clutch. The problems seemed pretty immediate after driving it again. The things I first noticed were a rough idle and loss of power. Since then I have replaced MAF, O2 sensors, plugs and wires, fuel filter, Ive checked for a clogged Cat, My fuel pressure is 35 psi, Last I checked the tranny fluid was full and i haven't seen any leaks. Ive also seafoamed it, and run a tank of injector cleaner through it. After all that the idle has evened out a bit, its still not great though. Power issue has not changed though.
Last I checked I have codes,
355 (EGR feedback signal is/was out of range) key on engine off
172, 173, 176, 177 (O2 sensors lean and rich) and 322 (EGR did not open/respond during test or if memory code, did not open intermittantly) in memory
and 411, 412, (Idle speed system not controlling idle, idle to high and low)116, (engine coolant sensor out of range) and 326 (Pressure Feedback EGR shows low pressure EGR not seating or not seating intermittantly) engine on.
Ive been told the EGR wont effect performance, so I haven't done anything with that.
Thanks
