Unhappy engine ticking noise from the oil pan

so i have a quiet ticking noise from my oil pan. it is erratic and is only heard while idling. you can only hear it while your under the truck but it doesn't sound normal. it is scaring me. also i am running mobile 1 full synthetic oil. any ideas on what it could be?

Default Re: engine ticking from oil pan

Only thing I could think of would be low oil level. I had the same problem on my ranger. Try filling it back up with oil and see if it continues.
