Default Replace Power Steering Pump

Hey guys, I'm out in the cold in a parking lot today replacing the power steering pump on my 2002 4.0 (the pulley shaft sheared off last night while I was showing my son how fun donuts in the snow can be...whoops).

I'm just wondering from those who have done this, are there any tricks to make this less frustrating or a quicker job? I'm mechanically inclined and have replaced many parts on many engines, but this is the first where it's not in my garage and I'll literally be standing in about 18" of snow while doing this.

Thanks for any thoughts--my plan is to head down there with a couple socket sets (metric and standard), some wrenches, some pliers, a bar in case I need to pry something, and then the fluids I need for replacement. Everything I've looked up says that should be enough tools, but I'm just looking for advice that may make this go more quickly (the windy 30 degrees doesn't make this look fun).

Thanks!

line wrenches & pb blaster for the high pressure line. not familiar with your actual pump/pulley and bracketry, but if it's the pressed on pulley, sometimes you have to remove the pulley to access bolts or to separate from the bracket - for those pulleys you need a puller. windy 30 degrees is like hoodie weather compared to what we've been getting here lol

Yeah, I was in a sweatshirt most of the time because the sun was out.

Luckily, the pulley is the bolt-on one, and I got everything swapped out but have to have the shop get the belt back on...one guy just couldn't get it done :/

Then, of course, I notice the little o-ring for the pressure hose that I didn't put on, so it all may be coming off again. Pity.

Do I need to bleed/have bled the power steering system, now?

Thanks for the response.
