hey guys i'm new to the community
hoping maybe someone might have an idea of what's going on..
okay so I have a 2002 ford ranger edge cab and a half 4x4 4.0 v6.. everything has been great I went out of town and on the way back my truck started running strange . the engine shakes, its not a light shake the entire steering coulomb rattles along with the cab. the next day the check engine light came on so I went and had it read and the code p0705 came up witch is the "transmission range sensor circuit malfunction (prndl input)"
I thought this was strange because it feels more like a fuel problem the truck is running bad during idle and when in gear and moving it feels under powered .. I ran seafoam trough the tank changed spark plugs in hopes it might help with the rough running . I don't want to spend 250S on a new tmc when it doesn't seem like its the problem. any ideas?
additional notes .. truck shifts fine no problems going in and out of gear..
