Ok, a bit of an update. First off, nothing really looked off under the hood. I pulled off the IAC and MAF and cleaned them. Replaced the crankshaft sensor and TPS (I was reading the codes wrong...doh, but figured it won't hurt).
Now on a suggestion from a friend, he said to try and unhook the DPFE sensor. According to him if it was resolved after unhooking it, could mean either the EGR is sticking or the DPFE is bad. So odd thing was I unplugged it and started the truck, made no difference. Plugged it back in, started the truck and it ran like a top, idled smooth with no issues. I let it sit and idle for like 5 minutes, pegging the throttle occasionally, ran great. Turned the truck off, started it back and it was right back to rough idle and stall. Tried the same sequence again (unplug DPFE, start, plug back, start) but it didn't recreate the smooth running.
I plan on pulling the EGR and cleaning it this weekend but does the above scenario maybe point to a bad/dirty EGR?
Also got a little better at reading codes
No active codes in memory after the previous run, ran the KOEO and I get 211 and 543 in memory, so I wonder if this points to a bad/failing fuel pump?
