PO1151 O2 sensor code
On my 2000 Ranger 4X4 4.0L OHV, auto now that I replaced the fuel fill pipe & the fuel fill & vent hoses & fixed the fuel sender I was able to make 2 of the 4 CEL codes go away (PO455, & PO460). I still have P1000, OBD II monitor/ drive cycle test not complete, & P1151, heated O2 sensor bank 2, sensor 1 switch point indicates lean. I already checked the plug connector to the drivers side O2 sensor & it looks ok, no damage or corrosion. Any ideas, or recommendations on where to go or what to check next?.
TIA, Mike.

I have the same problem getting codes for all o2 sensors. Replaced all three but still showing lean codes. I'm befuddled. Checked all wiring for sensors and I'm still scratching my head

Ever think you actually ARE running lean?
Check for leaks around the typical places. Too much air after the MAF can cause a lean condition.

Re: PO1151 O2 sensor code
Correct protocol for fixing is to always fix the lowest # DTC first, so start with the P1000.

Re: PO1151 O2 sensor code
Try re-setting the codes and start fresh.

The P1000 code is actually just letting you know that the OBD-II monitor testing isn't complete yet.
AKA - You haven't driven enough in varying conditions for the system to perform it's 'self check'.
My guess is he has been disconnecting the battery over & over - so the system hasn't been able to get a full test cycle in yet. Should be gone within a week of normal driving.
It's nothing to worry about - in fact, it's showing the system is working as it was designed.

I just installed a K&n intake system, yesterday. I'm changing tps and maf this weekend then ill clear codes and see. And no I don't feel like she's running lean, but I do have a bounce in Rpms after start up like 500-1500 for about 5 mins. Changed out pcv but still does it

This would be true, he needs to clear DTC's then go for a drive, a full duty cycle, engine fully cold to warm and in motion for maybe 5 miles. My guess would be he's clearing DTC's and starting it, but not executing a full duty cycle, and it's not gonna like that. It's conceivable that he may have not further DTC'S and he's done, woot woot!

Re: PO1151 O2 sensor code
3 lean codes means the o2 sensors work
A single o2 heater code means either the connection or the senser is bad.

If you are getting heater codes for all the sensors then your HEGO fuse blew.
----------
Please only use actual code #"s from now on......

Re: PO1151 O2 sensor code
How does the HEGO fuse have anything to to with the OP's issue?

Re: PO1151 O2 sensor code
I don't think it does. I was throwing it out when they mentioned "heater". Also I am not sure what codes the jacker is getting. What engine does he have? Is he getting o2 heater codes or lean codes ?

1151 indicates an intake manifold leak or a slow o2 sensor.

You have no SIG. You wouldn't answer questions and you are jacking.
