Thank you 01 Ranger (fellow Michiganian). I read your post after I posted. I looked at the elbow and could not see any damage. Being that I have not had any problems with idling or horsepower I took your advice and went to the Auto Plus dealer in Big Rapids and purchased a foot of 5/8" I/D reinforced hose ($1.47). I plan to pull off the elbow tomorrow and replace it with the hose. I'll let you know the outcome. Thanks again for posting your information--it helped a lot. Thank you too djfllmn!!
