I found a better way to mount the K&N cone filter so that it's not resting on the panel below it, restricting airflow. Instead of using that alternator bolt for the K&N FIPK mounting bracket, now I'm using a bolt off the radiator. The bracket is now acting as a bottom support for the MAF housing, holding the intake up much better. The filter sits 2-3" higher now and there's a bunch of space underneath it. It should get more air
