if your head cylinder is not bent or warped why do a valve job? just have them clean and service the head cylinder to cut the cost,probbly like 50 bucks to have it serviced and cleaned,theyre just trying to make a buck out of you,and also definitely recommend to buy new bolts, one tip the mechanic told me,do a sequence of torquing down the bolts,for ex. if the max is 75 ft lbs, do 40 then 60 then 75, and for every sequence, wait at least 10 mins for each sequence,the reason is the type of bolts expand and you wont get proper torque if you dont let it expand,im just quoting what my dads mechanic told me,hope that helps
