That still kinda sucks. whats the ambient temperature there? My 4x4 with 4.10's squeaks by with 14.4-16 mpg on average.. Best ive ever seen was 17.7 mpg.
But to answer your original question plugs and wires may help. That and check your fuel fliter and fuel rail pressure..
