Default Re: does my 94 ranger have traction control?

Advance Trak systems came out in 2008 for certain models (mostly the extremely pricey ones). In 2009 Ford decided it would go into all vehicles just as soon as the D.O.T made it mandatory. 2010 model years and up, now have traction control systems. other manufacturers such as GM, Chrysler, Toyota etc. came out with traction controls systems in or around the 2007 models years and some others were a shade bit before that in 2006. Up until 2009/2010 models years, only select models had it. Now they all have traction control systems. I never heard of a 94 Ranger 2WD, 3.0 V6 having a limited slip rear differential axle set either. Not unless you swapped in a Mustang rear axle system that had posi traction.
