yea that bolt w/o an impact might be tricky. the bump the key trick sounds like it might work. havn't done it personally.

In my engines class we are working on a gm 3400 engine. we had the oil pan off the engine so we just wedged a hammer to keep the crank from turning and got it off that way. obviously that doesn't work when the engines in the truck.

Guess I'm no help on this one, just sorta rambling. sorry
