I don't have any complaints or annoyances with my normal antenna. My race radio/ cb (switches between the 2 depending on which one I am using for the time being) has a magnetic mount and I put it up by my 3rd brake light. I also just throw it in the extended cab part of my truck thru the back slider when it isn't being used
