My front suspension spring code on my door jamb sticker is 11 same torsion bars they use on the FX4 Ranger Level II so doubt it's the torsion bars and by driving doesn't feel like a softer spring but instead softer hispeed compression damping taking the edge off sharp bumps. I'm thinking Mazda specs softer compression damping for the shocks.
