Wow! A fail on so many levels. Snatching a chain like that and not digging out the front end.

If one vehicle can't do it, hook up another to help out. Even if they only had one chain with the lot of them (stupid, stupid, stupid), the one truck had a winch, hook it up to the other tow vehicle.

A farm jack would have been good there too. Jack the truck up and put some stuff under the tire.

The comment on the road tires is spot on too.

Again, a fail on so many levels...
