Pretty much stuck with the 2.8/2.9/4.0 engines as far as a replacement that will hook to your transmission. 4.0L would be ideal, but it's a kind of big wiring job. Lots of mixed opinions on using a 2.9L auto behind a 4.0L too, but M5OD-R1 would probably be alright. Or could put a V8 in..
