ok guys i just bought the 99 ranger 4.0 an when i drove it home i relized when in 3rd to 5th gear it makes a whining niose io figured no big deal i have trans an what i payed for the truck i would come out ahead but the problem is i cant figure out were the niose is coming from. it starts in 3rd bout 37mph and does it threw 5th but when i push the clutch in the whining stops an once agian it stops when i let off the gas im thinking itd the rear end but i dont want to change somethin that aint broke. thanks guys
