Default Re: bleeder valve for 3.0?

You should really take some time and put your truck info into your signature to make it easier for people to help you.

And as for the bleeder on the radiator. there is one on the lower right hand side of the radiator. Just loosen it up a bit and the coolant will start pouring out of it. Id say if you want it to pour at faster or make sure nothing is staying behind open the radiator cap as well.

As for the fluid coming out like that..i think its because you are doing it wrong..You should not have the engine ON when you have the radiator cap OFF.

what you do is fill up the radiator with the engine OFF. and once that is full just close it up and fill up the coolant reservoir....Close that....Now turn the engine ON (sometimes it fills up but then it goes back down into the radiator so just add a little more until it stays at the full level)

With the engine ON....The reservoir is basically doing what you were doing when your turned it on to put more into the radiator. So after it runs for a min or 2 check the reservoir again to see if it has gone down. If it has then add some more to it and bam your done.

And remember to periodically check your reservoir level To make sure its not to low.
