I bought two replacement wiper arms for my '89. The new ones were marked for '86-'92 Ranger and Bronco II, but they will not fit over the existing spindles. Compared side by side with the old arms, the spindle socket on the new arms look identical, but are about 1mm smaller in diameter than the old ones. It is just barely too small to fit the spindle. The only way I can think to make them fit is to Dremel out some of the fluting inside the socket. Has anyone else had this problem?
