Hi there!

I am looking to buy an older Ranger to convert into a camping truck.
My plan is to travel around the US sleeping in the back.

So I am looking for something with good gas mileage and a larger bed to fit a camper shell on.

I found a 1994 Ford Ranger on creigslist with 230k miles on it.

I am meeting the owner tomorrow to take a look at it and to have a mechanic do a checkup. I do have some money budgeted for repair and ideally would get it in good condition before embarking.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if its plausible to drive a truck with this mileage around the US for a few years without it falling apart on me.

I have heard Rangers are trustworthy and great to own and I am looking forward to any help that can be offered!

Thanks!
