Matt, I have my ballasts mounted to the inner fender flat area behind each headlight using 3M double-sided tape. They're powered using the relay kit included in the high/low DDM setup. Its pretty new, I'll try a new fuse/ fuse holder. Its one of those craptastic clear fuses.
