Oh okay I see.
I have no idea what it's purpose is other than the fact that it's a main connector due to the large amount of wires. It's the first connector on the driver's side of the trans closest to the front of the truck. It's right in front of the NSS switch and selector linkage. Mine has a blue cover over it to protect the wires. The part number I put in my first post is the one that comes off the connector.
