Thats actually incorrect now-a-days. One can purchase antique insurance in 3,000, 6,000 and 10,000 Miles per year increments. In years past, DMV requirered, but does not now, That the owner kept a "Miles Log" in the glove box. To be produced when a law officer requested it. Start and end miles and for what the vehicle was used for. IE:, Club Meet, car show and such. This requirement was dropped several years ago.

Your also allowed to and from repair garages, and such. My insurance also allows "Nice Day Drives". They understand that driving a antique to keep it in good running condition is requirered. So, Nice day Drives are allowed.
