Hi Foxxy. Best thing to do would be to find out what the actual fault code is. This is done by shorting out two 'pins' in the grey diagnostic box (top r/h corner of the engine compartment looking in from the radiator) this will give you a series of flashes on the glow plug light that will reflect a fault code. My Ranger is ideal but it so hard to find out info on it?! Everything i have found out has been through google or just taking it to bits. Lol. Hope this helps.

p.s. Glad the sensor is ok as ford want £400 + for a new one!!!!! Aaaargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
