Okay, that wire that I was trying to find out what it was? Yea, it was the wire to the light under the hood...lol

I've now traced the gremlin down to the transfer case motor control module. I rebuilt the transfer case motor tonight...it was full of rust and definitely seized. I now turn on the key and press the 4x4 button and i can hear the control module click once, then click again. I've come to the assumtion that I need a new controle module. Anybody have one that I can buy? Or does anyone have any other suggestions that I can try to get the motor to engage the transfer case?
